An Important Message for Volunteers

December 2025

Jocelyn R.H. Kane, Managing Director, Yale Alumni Fund

Dear Yale Volunteers,

To further protect our community, we are implementing an additional security measure in the GiveCampus volunteer management system—MFA (multi-factor authentication).

This update is simple but requires your attention and will add an extra step to your login process.

We ask you to complete this simple but important process as soon as possible. It will take less than 5 minutes, and this 3-minute video will walk you through the process.

In short:

  1. Log into GiveCampus
  2. Click on your name in the top right corner
  3. Select “Edit Profile”
  4. Scroll down to “Two-Factor Authentication”
  5. Turn on Two-Factor Authentication by clicking the button at bottom
  6. Validate this step by entering the validation code you receive via email
  7. Enter your phone number to receive future verification codes via text (note that the Save Cell Phone button will not be highlighted—please click anyway)
  8. Logout and then log back in to ensure that you are prompted to enter a verification code

Important reminders:

  • GiveCampus will never contact you directly.
  • Your Yale contact will never ask you to share your GiveCampus password.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter. We hope that it is simple and easy to accomplish. We are here to help if you have questions or difficulties.
